Urodynamic tests help your doctor to assess the bladder and the urethra (the bladder outlet). They are usually performed to investigate urinary leakage.
During the test your bladder is filled and then emptied whilst measuring the pressure inside the bladder. The idea is to replicate what normally happens in your bladder so as to allow the appropriate treatment to be implemented.
