Uroflowmetry is an investigation usually carried out on men with bladder outflow problems, usually when they complain of difficulty emptying their bladder.

The test involves passing urine into a commode which then calculates the rate of flow of urine. This often helps the doctor make the correct diagnosis and then allows the appropriate management to be started.
