Mammography

This is a type of breast X-ray that produces an image of the inner breast.  It can help to identify calcifications, cysts and cancer within the breast.  It is currently the most efficient screening method to detect early breast cancer.

Windsor Medical Group can arrange for this to be carried out quickly should you or your doctor wish to have a breast lump investigated.

Breast Ultrasound

This is a non-invasive and painless test which uses high frequency sound waves to produce a picture of the internal structures of the breasts.

Breast MRI

This is a test which produces detailed pictures of the internal structures of the breasts.

Abdominal and Pelvic CT

This is a diagnostic test which uses x-rays to create cross-sectional pictures of the organs inside the abdomen and pelvis. This allows a full examination of organs such as the womb (uterus), cervix, ovaries and fallopian tubes.

Pelvic MRI

This is a radiation free diagnostic test to create detailed pictures of the pelvis.  This allows a full examination of organs such as the womb (uterus), cervix, ovaries and fallopian tubes.
